WARSAW K9DEW 146.985 PL 141.3 Update

Greetings to All,

First, I would like to thank all the supports that have been here for the 145.130 in Warsaw.

Since 1989 one of Warsaw's amateur repeater frequency has been 145.130. This frequency had been held by KA9OHV "Pat" until 2014 when K9DEW "Dewey" had acquired the repeater.
The 145.130 wasn't the first repeater frequency pair assigned to KA9OHV, actually, it was the second assigned frequency due to interference with another long distant repeater.

As we all know similar issues can be experienced today "Milwaukee" with another long distant repeater.  Not only Milwaukee, I've been experiencing trouble since splitting the transmit and receive into two separate sites. This has resulted in additional cost, traveling and lost time that I wouldn't have thought.

Until recently, I had come to the conclusion it is what it is.  But with a little bit of hope and willing to not give up, I was able to obtain a new/old frequency to replace the 145.130.

I'll be removing the 145.130 from the air Next Saturday, May 6th. It'll return back on the air hopefully the following weekend. So don't be alarmed when it doesn't respond, if needed please divert to the 443.050 for the time being.

Once the repeater is placed back on the air you'll find it at its new home frequency of...

146.985 - offset
PL Tone 141.3

Thank you for taking the time to read the is and looking forward to hearing everyone on the new frequency.  Please pass the message along to our other ham operators.
