6/14/2015 - Summer is in full swing!

To everyone, that's in our neck of the woods you can finally say summer is here with a touch of rain!

It's been couple months since the DMR repeater has been on the air. We must all agree things are better than expected and working out great! The repeater has its fair share of traffic and is becoming well known for its coverage in our Northern part of the state.

Warsaw's 5.130 had a major overhaul that started late last year and throughout the winter. Like must project's there was some obstacles that were unexpected. But all of that seems to have been resolved and it appears to be plugging along quite nicely. Kosciusko County "Warsaw" not only has had a reliable 2 Meter repeater for nearly 30 years. It's improved 2 Meter repeater has increased its range in both directions. Definitely two thumbs up!

Within couple weeks, the 443.325 will be fully functional and reachable within the Elkhart city. This repeater has been in the Elkhart area for many years. It's always been a somewhat low profile but handy repeater. Like most 70cm Repeater's it will probably be sitting idling. Our plans are to either provide some newer technology capabilities or use it as a link to connect with our other NIRG repeaters. No matter what its final destination becomes, be sure to program it into your radio and try it out.
